Wetlands are diverse and unique ecosystems that include salt marshes, swamps, estuaries, bogs, and mangroves. Wetlands play an important role in protecting coasts from storms and flooding, maintaining water quality, filtering pollutants, sequestering carbon (thereby helping to combat climate change), and supporting biodiversity. Despite their importance, wetlands are often seen as wastelands an...

I am just so proud of the beautiful, nature garden Colleen has created for our home in such a short time. I do not have the ability or the foresight to plan and construct a garden that is so admired by so many people passing by. It would be wonderful if everyone got rid of water drinking lawns and replaced them with sturdy, drought resistant native plants!!

Just so long as dingoes are included in the rewinding project because they are the apex predators (along with the wedge tailed eagle). The indigenous thylacines---we don't know where they are, if they are, and how many they are---so we need the dingoes. Also it helps to have dingoes outside these reserves because they prey on cats and foxes.

Bring back megalania, the carnivorous kangaroo and the marsupial lion (they'd be worth seeing😊) Otherwise human management may be the best solution. If the dingo is like

@@michaeleager4635 The problem is that without dingoes, red foxes and feral cats proliferate and that's much much worse.
